Dan and Merja opened dressed by an Olive in 2012 and were the first to bring the concept of an olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting store to Windsor-Essex County. Their passion originated from a trip to Palm Springs, California where they sampled and were educated about olive oils and vinegars at a local tasting store.

“When we sampled the fresh olive oil and the medley of vinegars, we had that aha moment!”

In 2020, dressed by an Olive expanded its operations to become a specialty grocery store. The main focus of its products are natural, organic, and ethically and sustainably-sourced which spans across produce, dairy, meats, poultry, and seafood.

In September of 2023, Tara, Zoran and Aryz became the proud new owners of dressed by an Olive and they look forward to continuing to serve you and the community with fresh bold taste!

Leesa from LDMedia is a website developer, graphic designer and runs a full service print shop. She started her business in 2009 shortly after graduating Computer Science & Multimedia (Honours) with a Minor in Art at the University of Windsor. She began with building websites for local small businesses and has now many other services and products being offered. She was trusted by Dan and Merja to update the dressed by an Olive website in 2020, with its emerging need for a better online shopping experience. She continues to update the website, making sure your browsing and shopping experience is consistent and enjoyable. You will also find her design work and printed items through the shop, with the canvas decor, the window sign, the pamphlets, bottle stickers, gifts tags and more.
